Following early radio support from the BBC R1 Rock Show and Kerrang! Radio’s FRESH BLOOD, Lockjaw Records’ latest signings, borts, are looking to be a band to watch out for in 2021. They kick-start the year with a new single ‘Get Sold’.

“A few years back, some of us went on a nationwide arena tour with a great band, and this song is about what transpired. It’s a reflection of how the whole experience made me feel and what I took from it.”, singer Tom explains.

This punchy punk number shows the band’s penchant for quirkiness, as the song blends catchy sing-a-long choruses alongside more traditional fast punk sounds and less-familiar elements such as a classical string section. Tom furthers, “It started off a slow “rock n roll suicide clone” and then we thought “hey, that’s boring let’s play it really fast and sing it way too high for our voices instead”.

The track is the latest to be taken from their newly-announced debut album Preach This! which is set for release in spring 2021 on Lockjaw Records, with further details TBA.

While the lockdown has been keeping them from performing live, the band holding regular live streams of a pre-recorded gig in a bid to raise funds and awareness for much-loved Kingston venue The Fighting Cocks.
