about

The third Single from Wild Tales.

lyrics

Bitter memories aside
It was fun to swim against the tide
Sometimes our sanity was sold
The light locked out in fear of getting old
and it made perfect sense back then
but now, our horizons seems so infinite without the fear we'll fall
So if you know it's right for you, it's yours to call

If turning your back on it all
Means turning your back on the man you once were, but aren't anymore
Then what could you ever be waiting for?
What you will get in return
Is something you won't want to fade and burn out
Like stars in the daylight

They’re just frames lulled from their sleep
You recalled from re-occuring dreams
In all of those instances, see how you so nearly fell
Those rose tinted glasses
don't sweeten these memories anymore
But you're free from it now, it's time to restore and reorder
A few years from now, you'll look back and wonder just how you made it out alive

So give up yourself to what you want in life
and don't beat up yourself
You know your choice was right
